I was praying and interceding for America when the Lord started speaking to me about the lack of missional sense among American Christians.

America has many “Christians”; but it does not have many laborers.

There are many people who worship Him on Sundays, but not many who worship Him by their obedience. There are many people who sing about the cross, but not many people who are willing to take up their own to follow Him. Many people who are more willing to live lives of comfort and accumulate even more for their already-more-than-their-basic-needs life, but not many people who are willing to live in the slums of India to represent the God they sing about to a people who have never heard of Him.

Indeed, the lack of laborers in America indicates something very profound about us– that God is not our god, we are.
