In a world of Wikipedia, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, where information about our world is quickly accessed, the next generation of youth will have the world’s most recent tragedies will be available more quickly.
While awareness may be increasing, I propose that another issue is mounting at hand: the willingness to do something about it.
World change is not won by our fingertips, by sitting in front of a computer, by “liking” a status, by Tweeting, or by sharing.
World change is won by life-giving sacrifice, a lesson that doesn’t come with our social media message.
It requires you to change your life dramatically before you can change the world dramatically.
