“Ah stubborn children,” declares the Lord, “who carry out a plan, but not mine, and who make an alliance, but not of my Spirit..”
Isaiah 30:1
Christianity was meant to be lived out in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
There’s a vision of dependence that God sets forth here in Isaiah that I crave for in my own life–a life of complete unity with the Spirit of God. To know his mind, to know his heart, to know what excites him, to know what grieves him.
Yes, I desire my life to be marked by one who is filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit.
I know that being in his presence and walking in his Spirit is the best place to be.
God, I make an alliance with your Spirit today. That I may know you more and love you more with every step I take.
