Richard Hays, Christian ethicist and scholar writes something interesting about the issues homosexuality and abortion:

The most passionate and rancorous moral debates in the church at present seem to focus on the issues of homosexuality and abortion—matters treated peripherally or not at all in the NT. Our feverish preoccupation with such questions is a sign oí pathology in the body of Christ.
