God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Here are my questions concerning this passage:
God, if you resist the proud, how often have you resisted me?
How often have my attitudes, my thoughts about others, my thoughts about myself have served as an impediment to being near You?
If pride is the antagonist to intimacy with your Spirit, then will you remove me of such foulness?
