I, I am the Lord and besides me there is no savior

Isaiah 43:11

For those who think that when Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one cames to the Father except through me” was the first time God had that concept in mind, think again.

Even centuries before Christ came, God was adamant about the singularity of his salvation plan. Remember the promises he made to Adam, to Abraham, to Noah, and to David- it’s been one single straight line plan that ultimately led to Christ.

In other words, God’s been working on this plan for a loooong time now.

And suddenly I begin thinking about Postmodernism and how it supposes that there are multiple roads which lead to God. Na ah, no way. What a disrespect to what God has been doing for thousands of years and the pieces that he’s been piecing together this whole time. If you think God’s going to give up on this carefully crafted masterpiece because some hotshot in the 21st century suddenly wants to suggest that there’s another way to salvation other than through the God of the Bible, think again.
