How do you hold in tension the God who administers and justice and punishment on the wicked in this life and the God who extends his mercy to even the worst of sinners?
Don’t we want the oppressors of the poor, the rapists, the people who run the sex-trade industry, the mass murderers to be judged and punished? Yet do we also want the mercy of God to be extended to them as well?
Man… I am glad I am not God. I don’t know how to make those decisions.
