Something tells me that it is non-normative to see this type of response to the preaching of the Word of God in our churches today.
Why are we so indifferent? Do we have preachers who preach with this kind of expectation from himself and God’s people? Or are we still satisfied with tickling people’s ears, expecting soft responses and minor movement out of spiritual apathy?
God, may your word be honored and feared again in our land!
