As God is pronouncing judgment on Israel, here he is making a great point: “Where are the intercessors?”
Intercession is a ministry we take because God is looking for people who know his mercy and will appeal on behalf of people to see it actualized.
We “stand in the gap” between people and God as Moses stood in the gap between God and the idolatrous Israelites after the Golden Calf.
