This is the episode where David’s men are hanging out with this rich guy with thousands of sheep and goats.
They could’ve easily stolen some sheep and goats for food, but the text records David’s men not touching one of their property. I found that so remarkable!
That’s such a testament to David’s leadership and his life.
He demonstrated such integrity here to the point where it influenced four hundred of his soldiers to operate in integrity as well. I mean how many of us can get our kids to operate in integrity, let alone four hundred grown hungry men?
I find that David was an amazing leader of integrity.
