This verse has been growing on me a lot these days and is quickly moving up in my list of most important verses in my life.
“One thing I have asked of the Lord
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple.”
Psalm 27:4
It reminds me that I want to be a person of one thing. There are many endeavors people strive after, but I want to be a person who is devoted to this one thing: loving Jesus.
After all, this is what eternal life is all about- to spend ones existence in the presence of God for all eternity. For I am quite convinced that that is the reason why I was made.
