Man’s sinfulness is a matter of a person’s heart and mind, both of which are internal. Therefore, God’s salvation plan must go beyond the Islamic solution of outward behavioral corrections. It requires a complete rebirth of humanity, the cost at which only an infinite God on a cross could pay, the life of which only a spiritual Being could give, and the far-reaching love of which only a God of love can offer.
